HER. The Art of Multiplicity is a curated exhibition celebrating the joyful complexity of womanhood, centring the voices and experiences of women from minority and historically underrepresented backgrounds. Presented by The Washington in collaboration with RROWM, the exhibition explores how women simultaneously embody and navigate multiple identities, embracing the intersections of race, ethnicity, culture, gender, career, and community as sources of strength, inspiration, and beauty.

Featuring a rich mix of painting, sculpture, installation, photography, film, sound, and digital art, HER! presents both personal and collective narratives that reflect the layered realities of women’s lives. The exhibition moves beyond reductive stereotypes and trauma-based narratives, instead foregrounding joy, ambition, self-definition, and creative freedom.

Designed as a warm, immersive, and multisensory experience, each gallery space explores a different intersection of identity, from career and creativity to motherhood, friendship, spirituality, and self care. Together, these spaces invite audiences to experience womanhood as expansive, evolving, and deeply communal.

HER! aims to amplify emerging artists, challenge exclusionary traditions within the art world, and contribute to broader cultural conversations around representation, belonging, and decolonisation. Ultimately, the exhibition is a celebration of women as multifaceted beings, more than one story, more than one role, and entirely self-defined.
